It protects precision devices operating through the battery (main battery) installed in the vehicle from external power sources (instantaneous voltage changes, inrush current, power interruptions, etc.). The battery serves the purpose of starting the engine but can also be used as a power source inside the vehicle. The battery is often directly connected to the load (operating devices), and during engine start, a large amount of power is applied to all devices connected to the battery.
